Girls Action compiled these ressources in preparation for our Northern Light program, that took place the summer of 2008, in Whithorse Yukon. In the resource compilation you will find lists of community organizations, health centres, information and crisis lines, women’s shelters, youth groups, etc. They are organized by region.

The BC Centre of Excellence for Women’s Health (BCCEWH) and the Canadian Centre on Substance Abuse (CCSA) have developed this information resource together to summarize the ways in which substance use and addiction differ for girls and women, and the implications of those differences for policy, research, systems and services.

Springtide Resources is a registered, non-profit charity dedicated to raising awareness of violence against women. For more than 27 years, they have been effectively providing training and resources to decrease the incidence of physical, psychological, emotional and sexual violence against women and the effect that woman abuse has on children.

XS Stress: Teens Take Control

The Sense Project is Head & Hands' innovative and awesome sexual education program

The Sense Project responded to a lack of Sexual Health education in Montreal area high schools.
